More manufacturers than ever now produce convertible and cabriolet models with their car range and are mostly open top versions of existing saloons or hatchbacks. Small versions include the compact super mini models such as the Nissan Micra C+C, Peugeot 207CC and Vauxhall Tigra. Next up are the popular midsize models from Renault Megane Coupe Cabriolet, Peugeot 307CC and Vauxhall Astra Twintop.

Ford and Volkwagen have also entered the market with the Ford Focus C-C and Volkswagen Eos. All these models have a metal folding roof, turning the car from convertible to coupe in seconds.
