Off-road Capability

The Jeep Wrangler can be fitted with a choice of two 4WD systems. As standard to the Sahara and Overland models is the Command-Trac system. The Rubicon system can be further enhanced by the unstoppable Rock-Trac system.

An Electronic Throttle Control system comes with an off-road calibration that grants you supremely refined control of the throttle over rocks, logs and uneven terrain. Heavy duty five-link solid axle front and rear suspension delivers incredibly precise handling and impressive noise reduction, off-road and on. There’s also a hill descent control that’s capable of sensing the gradient and automatically optimising systems – meaning that you can gently descend unstable or slippery terrain without even having to touch the brake pedal.
