The S grade provides electric front windows, a 60:40 split-fold rear bench and a four-speaker radio-CD.

The SE grade adds electric rear windows, aircon, 15-inch alloy wheels, body-colour mirrors, under-seat tray storage, a boot storage system, a cooling facility in the glovebox, heating for the door mirrors, an extra pair of speakers, audio controls on the steering wheel, curtain airbags and front fog lights.

The SVE grade adds climate control in place of aircon, an electric-fold facility on the door mirrors, 16-inch alloys, part-alloy pedals, a sports leather-trim steering wheel, stability programme (not with automatic-transmission models), an in-dash autochanger for six CDs, rear privacy glass, rain-sensing wipers and dusk-sensing headlights. SVE trim is not available on the 1.4-litre Note.
