Power & Performance
The Toyota Auris is available with a diverse range of engine configurations, with the choice varying depending on the trim level selected. Pick between two petrol engines (1.3 litres and 1.6), a 1.4 litre diesel and a 1.8 litre petrol/electric hybrid.
Though the diesel engine boasts ultra-low CO2 emissions of 99g/km, the hybrid option offers the best all-round performance. Here, 136hp performance is countered by supremely low emissions of 87g/km. And being capable of 74.3mpg on a combined cycle, you’ll save on fuel in the long run.
The Toyota Auris is fitted with a range of active safety systems as standard, including an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA), Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Traction Control (TRC) and Hill-start Assist Control (HAC). All engines are fitted with manual transmission, though the 1.6 litre petrol is also available with an automatic gearbox.
Equipment & Technology
The Toyota Auris is fitted with a range of advanced equipment designed to make your life easier and your drive more comfortable and enjoyable. Your infotainment needs are catered for by the Toyota Touch Audio System and, as an optional extra, the Toyota Touch & Go Navigation System. This incorporates Bluetooth, USB and iPod connectivity and a Rear View Camera – all controlled via a 6.1” touch-screen display.
Other available features include automatic climate control, a DAB radio, electric windows, a leather steering wheel, sport front seats and a choice of trims, finishes and inlays. The choice of features varies depending on the trim level selected, but even at entry-level the Toyota Auris has been designed to impress.
