The Toyota iQ can be fitted with a choice of two petrol engines, both of which are available with either 5-speed manual or Multidrive automatic transmission.
The 97bhp 1.33 litre Dual VVT-i engine is good for if you want to take your Toyota iQ beyond the city limits, but the superior efficiency of the frugal 67bhp 1.0 litre option cannot be denied. If fitted with 5-speed manual transmission, it returns an incredible 64.2mpg on a combined cycle, with CO2 emissions as low as 99g/km. Thanks to these significant green credentials, the Toyota iQ is potentially exempt from road tax.

Innovations
