Power & Performance
The Toyota Prius is fitted with the world’s most advanced full hybrid system – the 1.8 litre Hybrid Synergy Drive (HSD). It combines a 1.8 litre VVT-i petrol engine with two electric motors, working harmoniously together to deliver a peaceful and efficient driving experience with no sacrifice on performance.
The hybrid system recycles the power usually lost when braking or stopping to deliver outstanding fuel economy in all traffic conditions. But best of all, with CO2 emissions standing at 89g/km on a combined cycle, the Toyota Prius is exempt from road tax and the congestion charge. It’s also remarkably quiet, meaning that every journey will be peaceful, relaxing and enjoyable.
Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) grants you the ease and convenience of an automatic gearbox, whilst ride-enhancing Traction Control (TRC) is standard across the range.
