Andy Murray wins at the US Open.

At the US Open sponsored by Lexus Andy Murray won to get into his first semi final at a grand slam.

Taking the first two sets he looked certain to seal it in the third but let his Argentinean opponent back into the match.

In the final set each player lost service games but Andy broke Del Potro on the final game to win it 7-5.

This will be Andy’s first grand slam semi final and only the fifth Brition to get this far in the Grand Slam era. He is likely to face his Wimbledon nemesis Raphael Nadal providing he beats Mardy Fish tomorrow.

With the profile of this Grand Slam set to raise due to the British interest expect to see more of Lexus on your screens and over the news for the rest of the tournament.
