Set to take on the identically powered Mini Cooper SD, the new Audi A1 2.0-litre TDI boasts a whopping 141bhp and 236lb ft of torque, making it the most powerful model in the A1 range.
At 2.3 seconds faster than the 1.6, the new 2.0L engine accelerates the A1 from 0-62mph in just 8.2 seconds, achieving a top speed of 135mph.
