Skoda has revealed a new Fabia version to celebrate 110 years of motorsport heritage. The Fabia Monte Carlo shares the same name as the famous rally.
The new car can be identified by the piano black trim that runs around the wheel arches and along the body sides. Black paint is applied to the roof with the grille, door mirrors and wheels all in the same colour.
The customers can choose between black sports seats or red and black ones for the interior. The steering wheel and handbrake are trimmed in black leather and the red seat option features red stitching.
The Monte Carlo is based on the Fabia SE and is offered with a range of engines from 1.2 litre 68bhp petrol to 1.6 litre, 104bhp turbodiesel.
Prices for this new model start at £12,755.
Skoda will reveal the Fabia Monte Carol at the Monte Carlo Rally on 19th January; orders can be placed from 24 January.

Skoda has announced the popular Skoda Superb, Skoda Octavia Estate and Skoda Octavia Scout will now be offered with 2.0 TDI CR 140bhp four-wheel drive and automatic DSG transmission.
The new 4×4 drivetrain features a fourth-generation Haldex clutch which distributes the power depending upon the driving conditions. Under normal traction conditions, 96% of the power is directed to the front axle but in adverse weather conditions, the Haldex system will redirect the power for better traction and increased driving safety.
Skoda say the new 4×4 technology will have little adverse effect on fuel consumption as the drive to the rear wheels is disengaged when it is not required. In addition to the new four-wheel drive, Skoda has also announced the introduction of an automatic twin-clutch DSG gearbox to the existing 2.0 TDI CR 140bhp engine.
The new Skoda Superb, Skoda Octavia Estate and Skoda Octavia Scout featuring 4×4 technology is available to order in the UK from November 2010, with prices starting at £21,705.
