Priding themselves on their dedication in becoming one of the UK’s largest suppliers of vehicles for the mobility sector, Citroën has announced that they will be displaying no less than fourteen of their models at this year’s Mobility Roadshow in July.
Amongst the featured models are the DS3 C3 1.6HDi Exclusive auto with hand controls, steering ball and left foot (flip) accelerator and the C3 Picasso Exclusive 1.6HDi (with steering ball only).
Also showcased will be the award-winning C3 Picasso, the C4 Picasso, the Grand C4 Picasso, the Nemo Multispace, the Berlingo Multispace and the C5.
The emphasis, then, appears not just to be advancements in technology for the benefit of the mobility sector, but also in fuel efficiency, low emissions and in such vehicles which achieve remarkable roominess for wheelchair users whilst retaining their compact nature.
Diversity seems to be the key, then, with not just an extensive range of specialist models on display, but also such MPVs which can be readily converted for the needs of the mobility sector.
Citroën will also, therefore, be demonstrating such vehicles which are popularly used for specialist wheelchair-accessible conversions, such as the recently launched Berlingo Blaze wheelchair-accessible vehicle.
The 2010 Mobility Roadshow will take place from 1st to 3rd July at the East of England Showground near Peterborough. There, one will be able to witness first-hand all the latest in versatile transport solutions.
