Fiat launch the Smiles Per Hour Design Competition.

Fiat have always been synonymous with style and versatility and are always looking for ways to push the boundaries.

They have recently launched a competition designed to find new fun ways to travel, called the Smiles Per Hour Design Competition. The idea of the competition is to develop an invention that is a transporter of description and that makes the process of travel more enjoyable. It could be a redesigned version of an old method or a completely new and innovative idea.

Fiat have signed the presenter of TV’s ‘The Gadget Show’ and BBC motor sports Suzi Perry (pictured) to face the competition.

“What a fantastic challenge,” explains Suzi, “We’re famous in this country for our great inventors, and I’m sure today’s budding designers can match them all the way. The Fiat Miles Per Hour Competition is bound to generate some fantastic prototypes that, one way or another, can make getting from A to B more fun.”
