Mitsubishi has extended its popular ASX range with the introduction of a new special edition model – the Mitsubishi ASX Black Edition.

Boasting an enhanced exterior style with satin black roof, spoiler, side mirrors, grille and black 17-inch alloys wheels, the new Mitsubishi ASX Black Edition is available with six different exterior colour options and a whole host of extra equipment.

Inside, the Mitsubishi ASX Black features a bespoke interior with black leather trim and carbonfibre inserts. Standard features include sat-nav, reversing camera and iPod connectivity.

Under the bonnet, there’s a choice of two engines including a 1.6-litre 115bhp petrol or a 1.8-litre 147bhp diesel engine. Front-wheel drive is standard, but the diesel version is available with Mitsubishi’s AWC four-wheel-drive system for those who want off-road capabilities. All models also come with stop/start and energy recuperating brakes to aid economy figures.
