Silverstone Classic Tickets – A Great Father’s Day Gift
Silverstone Classic is fast approaching, but Father’s Day is even more imminent.
The organisers will have you know that those booking tickets in advance can take advantage of discounts of up to 20%.
The implication is that tickets to Silverstone Classic would make for excellent Father’s Day presents.
They might be on to something there.
If your dad is at all interested in the world of motoring, a ticket to Silverstone Classic will give him three full days of access to thousands of fantastic classic cars and supercars; not to mention a thrilling line-up of 24 races featuring some of the rarest, most spectacular and valuable classic racing cars in this or any universe.
And in the supremely rare event that he should become bored with the racing action, he’ll also have some live music to which he can look forward on the Friday and Saturday nights. Let’s just say that if he’s partial to a bit of Mike & The Mechanics or Adam Ant, his needs will be fulfilled.
But he doesn’t have to go alone.
And, indeed, should he choose to bring the whole family, there’ll be something for everyone to see.
Additional attractions include a vintage fun fair, go-karts, aerial displays with wing walkers, the Parachute Regiment The Red Devils, hot air balloons, lawn mower racing, trials bike demos, streetcar shoot-outs, an off-road zone, Punch and Judy (celebrating 350 years in 2012), rally car and 4×4 experiences as well as giant TV screens showing all the on-track action.
“The Silverstone Classic is the biggest and best classic racing festival in the World as well as Europe’s most entertaining car-themed event,” said event director Nick Wigley.
“There is something to suit every dad in the country – that’s why a day out at the Silverstone Classic at the end of July is the perfect Father’s Day gift.”
Adult tickets for 2012’s Silverstone Classic powered by the AA (20-22 July) cost from as little as £35 and special two- and three-day weekend tickets are also available with savings of up to 20 per cent if purchased in advance. Full details are available via the event’s official website.
