Not Just Skin Deep
So now the weather’s looking brighter, and all that nasty snow and ice has disappeared off towards another continent that deserves it more, you don’t need to look after your car anymore, do you?
The occasional rain shower will clear away salt and dust from the road and the presents from our avian friends; and if it does get too bad, a quick visit to the drive-thru will sort it out.
Or will it? Would you like to be scrubbed by stiff-bristled brushes wielded by heavy-handed minimum-wagees, then forced through a coffin whilst being flagellated by whirling cloth strips before staggering into the air through a sauna’d wind tunnel?
I didn’t think so.
So much better the personal touch. Professionally produced detergents, lovingly applied by hand (forget the door-to-door school kids earning school-trip money.) A sponging down with warm water, the erratic yet tactile movements of loving hands spreading quality products the bodywork, washing bugs, birds and elemental remains right out of your musically metaphorical hair.
Then, the rinse; cleansing, healing, gentle, warm – revealing true natural beauty before the waft of a quality chamois leather applies the finishing touches before being left in the gentle arms of Mother Nature and her big ball of heat in the sky to dry off.
And…relax.
But beauty is not just skin deep. Inside, there needs to be love. You need order, you need to be able to offer a comfortable environment to be used, and you need to create the right impression.
So get polishing, get wiping, get vacuuming, and get tidying, because what’s inside counts as much as what’s outside.
And peace, serenity and clarity can be yours in a happy Hyundai, a beaming BMW, a perky Peugeot, a merry Mini, a joyous Jaguar…
“Outer and inner cleanliness is but a reflection of the inner achievement” – Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
