The new Prius gets an all new 1.8 turbo charged lean burn engine that emits a low 89 g/km of carbon dioxide and delivers fuel economy of up to 72mpg. The Prius is rated VED Band A and qualifies for free road tax yet despite its green creditional performance is improved with a 0-60mph time of 10.4 seconds and a top speed of 112mph. A new option on the latest Prius is a solar moon roof which powers the ventilation system sand reduces the cars reliance on airconditioning.
