The Golf GT TDI 170 and Scirocco GT TDI 170 are the latest additions to the Volkswagen diesel hatchback range.
Both with differing reviews but both come to the same outcome – quick and slick!
The Golf’s stats do not necessarily jump out at you on paper but once behind the wheel, the muscle power comes into force and you soon disregard the fact you turned your nose up at 168bhp! The Scirocco is an oldie come good, the striking coupe gains the new 2 litre engine from the above Golf GT TDI, combing effortless acceleration with sharp, striking dynamics. Linked to the GT trim level it offers a comprehensive list of standard features including a six cd autochanger, rain and dusk sensor, multi function computer and for the 1st time the new 19 inch ‘Laguno’ alloys are available as an option.
