A used maintenance package includes routine servicing, maintenance, premium tyres and other repair or replacement costs (exclusions apply) that might be required during the contract.
A used maintenance contract typically includes:
- Scheduled independent servicing and independent maintenance (including materials, oil, grease and lubricants) in accordance with the manufacturer's schedules, recommendations and warranty regulations
- Mechanical repairs or replacements, including overhauls of major components and rectification of other mechanical defects
- Exhaust system, battery diagnostics and engine overhauls, inspections, repairs, and replacements
- Premium tyre replacement as a result of fair wear and tear or faulty manufacture (exclusions apply) by an approved tyre supplier
- UK Roadside Assistance, Recovery and At Home cover
- MOT tests (if applicable)

What are the exclusions?
- Repairs or replacements due to driver error, negligence, misuse or driver-induced faults
- Repairs due to accident damage
- Non-fair wear and tear, caused by failing to properly maintain or use the vehicle
- Missing, broken or damaged items e.g., bent aerials, missing hub cabs
- Breakdown tyre changes
- Damaged windscreen and/or glass replacement
- Misfuelling
- Missed Servicing
- Clutch wear under 75,000 miles (cars) or 50,000 miles (LCVs)
- Flywheels, Diesel Particulate (DPF) and Catalytic Converters
- Lubricant and Fluid Top Ups outside of routine servicing (e.g. Oil Top Ups, Screenwash Top Ups)
- A relief/courtesy vehicle
NB: An excess mileage charge of 6 pence excluding VAT per mile applies. The excess rate will increase by 9 pence excluding VAT per mile if the excess mileage exceeds 5000 miles above the agreed contract mileage.
