Renault Megane CC 1.5 DCi

I have had a renault megane coupe cabriolet for 12 months and overall I am really pleased with it. Throughout the summer - when it wasn’t raining - it was really nice to have the roof down. The metal roof folds into the boot in seconds at the touch of a button. With the roof up the boot is huge, easily bigger than most medium sized hatchbacks and even with the roof down there is still room for a suitcase. The rear seats are a bit cramped for adults but are fine for my two children. I went for the 1.5 diesel as I got a really good deal on this model. The fuel economy is excellent, easily achieving over 50mpg and it feels quite fast around town. It is very comfortable to drive although the steering is on the light side. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this car as I have had no problems mechanically and when I purchased it was cheaper than similar cars such as the Peugeot 307 and looks better in my opinion.

Dynamique Dci 106

This has to be the best value Coupe Cabriolet on the road. The Dci 106 engine runs with the smoothness of a petrol engine, has enough power to have fun with and I am getting 52mpg. The roof is one of the fastest folding and the car looks really good with the roof down. The back seats are adequate and can seat adults for short journeys whilst the front is ample for 6 footers to drive long journeys in comfort. The spec of the car is fantastic, coming with 17" alloys, cruise control, climate control, 6 speed gearbox and a really good hifi. There is very little wind noise with the roof up and the glass roof lets in plenty of light. I can’t recommend the car enough.
