Why Lease The A6 Avant?
When it comes to an estate car, you can look at the Mercedes E-Class estate, the BMW 5 Series Touring and even the Volvo V70 estate, but it is generally considered to be insider knowledge on the forecourts that there are not many more estate cars that are as desirable than the Audi A6 Avant.
It looks good (to the extent that one reviewer called the car 'handsome' when discussing its 2014 design tweaks), it has an interior that redefines the word 'stunning', and it has been produced using lightweight materials in order to make the A6 Avant the fastest and most economical Avant yet created.
A perfect option for both company car drivers and private drivers - especially families - the standard luxury with a range of fantastic optional extras combines with a wide range of diesel engines that includes a fast but fuel-efficient twin-turbo BiTDI.
Highly-spec'd from the entry level SE to the top-of-the-range Black Edition, and with some impressive fuel economy and emissions figures (that you would expect from a diesel), motorway cruising becomes a pleasure rather than a chore.
Audi A6 Avant Key Features
• The fastest and most economical Avant yet created
• A 'stunning' interior
• Acceptable fuel economy and CO2 emission figures
• A standard specification to die for with incredible optional extras list
• Making motorway cruising cool again
Power & Performance
Throughout the Audi A6 Avant range you'll find a wide range of 2.0-litre and 3.0-litre diesel engines providing a wide range of power outputs, MPG and CO2 figures.
At the start we find the 2.0-litre TDI Ultra engine with CO2 emissions of between 109 and 119g/km and fuel economy of up to 60mpg (dependant on gearbox type and wheel size), followed by the better-performing but less frugal 215bhp 3.0-litre TDI. The latter model has a quattro four-wheel drive version available as well as a 268bhp version of the 3.0-litre TDI to consider before we come to the top-of-the-range 3.0-litre twin-turbo BiTDI diesel which still manages low emissions (144g/km) and acceptable MPG (53mpg) whilst achieving a top speed of 155mph and a 0-62mph acceleration time of just 5.7 seconds.
Leasing vs Buying
Leasing is a great alternative to buying a brand new car, and here at Nationwide Vehicle Contracts, we offer a huge range of vehicles at competitive lease rates – all of which come with inclusive road tax, full UK manufacturer's warranty and breakdown recovery. Add in low initial payments, fixed monthly instalments and flexible contract terms, and that should make your decision a bit easier - until you come to choosing which car!
