Why Lease The Q50 ?

Replacing the Infiniti G, the Infiniti Q50 is a compact executive sports sedan that delivers the sublime in both appearance and performance. Its zero-lift aerodynamics result in exceptional stability even at high speeds, whilst the customisable direct adaptive steering filters out unwanted vibrations and gives you an unprecedented level of control over your handling.

Infiniti Q50 Key Features

•    Powerful engines and impressive hybrid option;Infiniti Q50 Exterior
•    Rich and refined interior including high-quality trims and twin LED displays;
•    Advanced driver assistance systems including Active Lane Control and Around View Monitor;
•    Customisable Direct Adaptive Steering technology;
•    The first model to sport the soon-to-be iconic Infiniti "Q" logo

Power & Performance

The Infiniti Q50 can be equipped with either of the two available powertrains, both of which are fitted with 7-speed automatic transmission. The 2.1 litre turbodiesel generates 168bhp, but more exciting is the 3.5 litre VQ35HR V6 hybrid. Through adding a 50kW motor and a compact lithium ion battery, it gives a total power output of 354hp and is capable of achieving 0-62mph in just 5.1 seconds.

Wider and lower than its predecessor, the exterior of the Infiniti Q50 has been designed to be as streamlined as possible, resulting in zero-lift aerodynamics with a drag coefficient of just 0.26. As a result, even at high speeds you can depend upon a smooth ride and excellent stability.

The Infiniti Q50 is the first car to feature Infiniti’s Direct Adaptive Steering, a groundbreaking steer-by-wire system that eliminates the standard mechanical link between the driver and the powertrain. This feature allows you to fine-tune the level of electronic steering assistance you receive, giving you unprecedented control and beautifully responsive handling.

Technology & Equipment

With excellent refinement and a selection of high-quality materials and trims, the interior of the Infiniti Q50 creates a rich and luxurious feel. And, whilst most cars are proud to offer you one LED touchscreen, the Infiniti Q50 gives you two. One controls such in-car features as satellite navigation and climate control whilst the other operates an upgraded version of the Infiniti InTouch infotainment system.

Infiniti InTouch integrates your online presence to your drive, allowing you to access emails, stream music, download apps and monitor your various social media activities – all through an intuitive interface that incorporates voice recognition, steering wheel controls, hand gestures and touchsreen.

The Infiniti Q50 is also fully-loaded with the very latest in the next generation of driver assistance technology, including Active Lane Control, Intelligent Cruise Control, Back-Up Collision Intervention and the Around View Monitor. Borrowed from Nissan, this advanced system gives you a virtual 360° view of your environment for almost effortless parking.

Leasing vs Buying

Even driving a car as luxurious as the Infiniti Q50 becomes a lot more affordable when you consider leasing as an alternative to buying. Nationwide Vehicle Contracts have some excellent leasing offers on the Infiniti Q50 at outstanding UK car lease prices. Lease an Infiniti Q50 from Nationwide Vehicle Contracts and you can look forward to flexible contracts and mileage terms, fixed monthly payments and inclusive road tax and breakdown recovery.

If you’re looking for a luxury sports sedan, we also have some excellent leasing offers on the Jaguar XJ, the Mercedes Benz S-Class and the BMW 3-Series.

could just do with adaptive cruise control instead of the standard cruise control and heated rear seats, technology wise this would be a hard car to beat for the money

It's surprisingly slow off the mark, but it may be because I'm used a manual car. The front seats and equipment levels are however excellent.

The turbo lag is seriously dangerous, with 1-4 second delay between pressing the pedal and the car actually moving. Pulling away at a junction or roundabout into a gap in traffic is a scary experience as you never know when it will actually move... its kind of pot luck. Also, the service I received from my local Infinity centre was laughable for a "premium" brand. They never answer the phone, hardly ever anyone on the front desk at the showroom entrance, and I was once walking around in circles for 15 mins before I actually found a single member of staff. I think they all disappear in the back for a nap.
