Nationwide Vehicle Contracts have some exciting leasing offers on the Subaru Forester at affordable UK car lease prices.
Subaru Forester Key Features
• Fourth generation of Subaru’s “best SUV ever”;
• New spacious, comfortable and versatile interior;
• Extensive array of advanced features and equipment as standard;
• All-wheel drive & self-levelling rear suspension for reliable off-road capability;
• New range of powerful yet efficient engines
Power & Performance
The range of engines for the fourth generation Subaru Forester have been designed to reduce running costs and CO2 emissions without compromising on power or responsiveness. Some engines are fitted with automatic start/stop, which combined with further enhancements has made the new Subaru Forester capable of up to 49.6mpg.
At entry-level there’s a choice between a 145bhp 2.0 litre boxer diesel and a 148bhp boxer petrol, both of which produce around 150PS. All engines are available with 6-speed manual transmission, but the petrol engines are also available with a semi-automatic Lineartronic CVT gearbox. Indeed, to get the sportiest, smoothest drive, combine the 2.0i XT engine with Lineartronic transmission for a maximum speed of 137mph and acceleration that can achieve 0-62mph in just 7.5 seconds.
The Subaru Forester has always been formidable when it comes to off-road motoring, a trend that’s continued and enhanced by the fourth generation model. Dependent on the engine configuration, features available across the range include the Subaru Intelligent Drive system, Subaru Vehicle Dynamics Control, Hill Start Assist, Hill Descent Control, X-Mode for optimum traction and the self-levelling load compensating rear struts.
On The Inside
The new Subaru Forester is taller, wider and longer than its predecessor, which has made the interior even more spacious and versatile than ever. A sunroof comes as standard on all but the entry-level diesel option, creating a light, bright, airy and fresh atmosphere in the cabin.
In terms of performance, the Subaru Forester is an immensely practical car, and the interior has been designed to be adaptable to your every adventure. It defaults as a 5-seater, but the 60:40 split rear seats provide extra flexibility, expanding the 505 litres of storage space to up to 1,577.
With a choice of refined trims – including aluminium pedals and leather on the seats, steering wheel and gear stick – the new Subaru Forester above all proves that style and practicality can coexist quite peacefully.
Features, Equipment & Technology
Things can get hairy when you venture off-road. Luckily, the Subaru Forester can be equipped with all manner of features and equipment that serves to make every single journey a joy.
For your comfort and convenience, features available across the range include cruise control, automatic rain sensing windscreen wipers, dual zone automatic air conditioning, a one-touch lane changer, a powered rear gate and keyless entry with a push-button start system.
Finally, your infotainment needs come courtesy of a dashboard integrated multi-function display, Bluetooth connectivity, Pioneer satellite navigation and a Rear Vision Camera system.
