Suzuki SX4 S-Cross Key Features
• Class-leading boot space
• Choice of four trim levels – SZ3, SZ4, SZ5 & SZ-T
• Impressive range of standard features, equipment and technology
• ALLGRIP four-wheel drive technology with four selectable modes
• Powerful yet efficient petrol and diesel engines
Power & Performance
The Suzuki SX4 S-Cross is available with a choice of two engines - a 1.6 litre petrol and a 1.6 litre DDiS diesel. The petrol option is available with either 5-speed manual or CVT automatic transmission, whilst the diesel option is fitted with a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard.
For the ideal compromise between power and efficiency, choose the 1.6 litre DDiS manual, which achieves 67.2 mpg on a combined cycle, with CO2 emissions as low as 110g/km. The Suzuki SX4 S-Cross is a pleasingly agile car, with all models offering excellent grip, solid handling and accurate steering.
The SZ5 and SZ-T trims are available with the Suzuki ALLGRIP four-wheel drive system, which adds impressive off-road potential to the already highly versatile package. This feature allows you to choose from four driving modes.
Auto is the best for everyday driving, sending power to the rear wheels only when necessary. Snow mode activates the four-wheel drive, delivering traction to each wheel as and when it's needed. Sport mode is great for the motorway, whilst Lock mode, selectable only at lower speeds, sends more torque to the rear wheels for those more demanding muddy, snowy or rocky tracks.
Equipment & Practicality
The new Suzuki SX4 S-Cross is significantly bigger than its predecessor, which of course results in a more spacious and comfortable interior and 160 litres more boot space. In fact, with its 430 litre boot, the SX4 S-Cross has a larger carrying capacity than any one of its rivals.
The vehicle is available in four trim levels - SZ3, SZ4, SZ5 & SZ-T – with different features and equipment available across the range. The standard package is most impressive, offering 16” alloy wheels, cruise control, air-conditioning, heated door mirrors and USB connectivity.
Higher trims add front foglights, Bluetooth connectivity, extra body protection for off-road jaunts, 17” alloy wheels and keyless entry. Towards the top of the range you'll find sat-nav, a reversing camera, front and rear parking sensors, LED daytime running lights and a panoramic glass roof.
