The festival has been going for a lot longer than you might think, 2011 to be exact, can you believe it has been 8 years? We can’t, it has flown by. It is the perfect place for petrol heads and families alike, with nonstop entertainment that will keep everybody happy. Plus, as it is so popular there is not one but two locations, you can pop along to the CarFest in Cheshire if you’re up North or Hampshire if you’re down South.
While you’re there you can feast your eyes on a whole host of cars, as there will be two dedicated car paddocks featuring loads of different categories, so you can whet your vehicle appetite.
There will be:
If you are a fan of music – or you are taking someone who isn’t the biggest fan of cars – there’s live music as part of the entertainment. It is a pretty impressive ensemble as well, there’s everyone – from Rick Astley, The Jacksons and Kaiser Chiefs to Jools Holland, The Human League and Boy George – so no matter your music taste there’s something to please everyone.
If you are taking any little ones, they won’t be stuck for fun things to do either thanks to the kid’s kingdom. They can rule their world in the wooden fort, enjoy the live skate and bike shows, dance and sing at the roller disco, get topsy-turvy at the zorb zone and much much more.
What makes CarFest even more special is its huge charity focus, in 2018 CarFest raised just under £3.1 million for BBC Children in Need, which we are sure you will agree is an amazing accomplishment. This year, 2019, CarFest has decided to spread its donations across a plethora of different charities. They include, BBC Children in Need, Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust, Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity, Starlight Children’s Foundation and Teenage Cancer Trust. CarFest also promise 25% of the price of each ticket will be donated to the charities.
Whether you’re attending the Cheshire or Hampshire show, we hope you have the best weekend – and hopefully the sun will show its face, it is a bank holiday after all. CarFest are active on all social platforms – Instagram, Twitter and Facebook – so don’t forget to tag your location, use the #CarFest2019 and let all your followers know how much fun you’re having.
