Ferrari

Guitarist Eric Clapton of Yardbirds, Cream and Derek & The Dominoes fame happens to be a staunch supporter of all things Ferrari.

To that end, Ferrari created a special one-off car just for him.

It's called the SP12 EC. It was created not only in homage to Eric Clapton's long career, but also in recognition of his long term state of Ferrari ownership.

Indeed, Mr. Clapton has owner three different Ferrari 512 BB models over the years. Apparently, old slow hand wanted nothing more than to drive a car inspired by this model with influences from the Ferrari 458 Italia.

He got his wish with the SP12 EC – part of Ferrari's One-Off Programme.

A statement from Ferrari reads: “Just like music is created, applying the right notes in the right places to build a musical score, so was the creative process behind the SP12 EC.”

OK? OK.
