Vauxhall has revealed its brand new Corsavan at the Brussels Motor Show this month, replacing its predecessor that was already an award-winner - so expectations are high for this new model.
Complete with a bright new exterior, high-class interior and an improved chassis, the new Corsavan has an increased payload of 592kg - an increase of 21kg from the outgoing model - and a flat loading capacity of 920 litres. But at an overall size of just 4.02 metres long and 1.94 metres wide, it’s compact enough to fit into the tightest of parking spaces and negotiate the narrowest of city streets.
Under the bonnet, the all-new Corsavan is equipped with an impressive array of four Euro-6 compliant petrol and diesel engines from 1.2 to 1.3CDTi, three of which feature Start/Stop technology, but all of which deliver fuel economy (up to 83.1mpg) and low low CO2 emissions (as low as 90g/km.) There’s also advanced new IntelliLink infotainment smartphone connectivity, as well as more comfort and convenience features than ever before.
Vauxhall have also looked at how the Corsavan is driven too by improving the driver ergonomics with new seats being installed - new seats that provide increased support, durability and extended travel which are perfect for those long distance journeys and increased use for the pool vehicle option - ambient lighting and reduced levels of noise, harshness and vibration. All-in-all, the Corsavan is now an even better experience for workday use than ever before, whatever the line of business it is used for.
This is backed up even further by new available extras such as electronic climate control, a Winter Pack with heated seats and heated steering wheel, IntelliLink with 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system incorporating Bluetooth and DAB, 16" black alloy wheels, rear parking sensors and a Technical Pack that includes forward collision alert, lane departure warning, rear camera, traffic sign recognition and following distance indicator.
“Vauxhall’s all-new Corsavan is stylish, comfortable and affordable to run,” said Steve Bryant, Vauxhall’s Head of Commercial Vehicle Brand. “Like its award-winning predecessor, it will hold massive appeal to van drivers, small businesses, fleet decision-makers and company drivers alike.”
