NEW ROAD TEST VIDEO PRESENTER REQUIRED

Car & Driving are the world-famous company that produce and host the largest library of road test videos in the world, and have an audience estimated at over 10 million across UK and world websites. (Nervous yet?)

On the site you can find 600 HD iPhone/iPad-compatible films that cover almost every car, van and pick-up available on the UK market. The films are incredibly detailed, being brolen down into sections so that viewers can go to any part they want instantly. Take a look at www.caranddriving.com to get an idea of what I am on about..

“Viewers can get three or four minutes on specifically what they’re interested in, rather than three or four minutes of generality covering largely what they already know,” says Car & Driving’s Editor-in-Chief Jonathan Crouch.

Now, basically they are looking for a new presenter to assist/take over from the current one – who is Jonathan himself. He has been the presenter on pretty much all of the videos so far, but demand is growing so much that a new presenter is required at their base in Horsham, West Sussex where filming takes place. In Horsham, the library is maintained, and is in use throughout most key UK dealer groups and publishers, and also features the largest available library of New Car Road Tests and Used Car Model Guides as well as a world-leading picture library.

What we are talking here is a serious business, which is why they are looking for a particular talent – and that may be you!

They are looking for someone who can “come across well on camera and quickly able to memorise and deliver the considerable detail that Car & Driving’s uniquely detailed film scripts convey.”

Obviously it helps if you know a bit about cars too, and vans and pick-ups, but a personality that can shine through and an honesty and believability is pretty imperative too!

If that is you, applications need to be made direct to jonathan.crouch@caranddriving.com
