Nationwide Vehicle Contracts assembles the ultimate heist team using lease cars.
Are you the same type of weird that whenever you see a big bank, you wonder if you could pull off a heist there? No? I've spent too long watching Baby Driver and the start of The Dark Knight!
There have been some iconic heist crews throughout history, but we think we could put together an elite crew based on lease cars.
In this blog, Nationwide Vehicle Contracts assembles the ultimate heist team using lease cars. If you get inspiration, remember to avoid telling your finance broker what you plan to use the vehicle for!!
The Team
First things first, we need to think about what kind of crew we need. I'm setting our sights high, so our heist will target a high-security location.
As I'm an expert in this (never robbed anything in my life), I think we need a crew of at least five cars, each meeting one of these categories: the mastermind, the infiltrator, the muscle, the lookout, and the wheelman.
The Mastermind
The mastermind is the brains of the operation. They've chosen the target, picked the crew, and selected the perfect time to strike.
We reckon the mastermind would drive a car like the Tesla Model S. Coming with superb performance and one of the best infotainment systems around, the mastermind would fit like a glove in a Model S.
They'd also love all the technology at their disposal, and could probably plan the heist using the giant touchscreen on the dashboard! It's also very quiet, meaning the mastermind could slip in and out without causing alarm.
The Infiltrator
For any heist to be successful, you need a frontman. Someone that's going to get you into the building and avoid alerting security.
The Audi RS e-tron GT would be perfect for the infiltrator. Combining elegance with electric power, the RS e-tron GT would allow the infiltrator to move silently while also fitting in with the target's high-class surroundings.
It also has a range of advanced security systems, meaning it has the infiltrator covered if anything goes wrong.
The Muscle
Like B.A. Baracus was to the A-Team, every heist team needs a bit of old-fashioned muscle. If anything goes wrong, the muscle will force a way out for the crew and help eliminate unwanted visitors.
Nothing epitomises the muscle more than the Ford Ranger Raptor. Coming with an aggressive appearance, immense build quality, and superb durability, the Ranger Raptor could smash its way out of a tight spot in seconds.
Once the heist is completed, the Ranger Raptor will also carry the loot easily.
The Lookout
The underrated hero of a heist crew is the lookout. While the other members take home the glory, the lookout stays back and ensures everything runs smoothly. They're level-headed and have excellent anticipation skills.
The perfect lease car for the lookout would be the Range Rover Velar. Providing a superb field of view and a luxurious interior, the Velar would provide the lookout with a comfortable vantage point to assess the situation.
It can also kick into gear when needed, such as recusing other members or helping to fight off enemies.
The Driver
Sitting patiently while the heist takes place, the wheelman's role is to get the heist across the finish line. The crew member with the most pressure on them, the wheelman has to navigate busy roads to avoid the police, all while dealing with the suggestions of other crew members in the car.
The getaway car needs to be fast, nimble, and reliable. Step up the Porsche 911. Providing rapid performance and precise handling, the 911 offers the agility and speed needed to outmanoeuvre any pursuers and navigate the busy streets.
Conclusion
In the world of high-stakes heists, teamwork is paramount to your crew's success. Our dream height crew, equipped with these lease cars, represents the blend.
From the elegant and stealthy Audi RS e-tron G.T. to the muscle of the Ford Ranger Raptor, each vehicle's characteristics provide a different string to the crew's bow.
The right vehicle can make the difference, so focus on the cars next time you watch a heist film!
