Whilst most of us will be relaxing with a nice glass of wine this Bank Holiday weekend, NVC’s Sales Manager Jason Reynolds will be touring Britain’s coast – all 133 miles of it!

In an attempt to raise a whopping £3,000 for charity, Jason and his team will be embarking on an epic bike adventure, cycling from Britain’s coast to coast to raise funds for Parkinson’s UK and Cancer Research UK.

The challenge starts in the delightful countryside of Whitehaven when Jay and the boys (aka the ‘Y Club’) will be making the painful 133 mile journey to Sunderland. The brave guys aim to complete the challenge in just under 3 days, enduring all manor of aches and pains in the process.

“Its going to be really tough as we are all relatively unfit but we’re looking forward to the challenge” comments Jason.

“We are hoping to raise £3000 for 2 charities that are really close to our hearts - Parkinson’s UK and Cancer Research UK. The money raised will go a long way to help those affected by the illness, as well as providing help and support for their families. We just hope we can do them proud”.

The boys have just 4 days before the start of the challenge but there is still time for people donate to the worthy cause.

“Every penny counts so we’re grateful for all donations” comments Jason.

To make a donation to the ‘Coast to Coast’ challenge, please visit the Y Club Coast 2 Coast Parkinson's UK JustGiving Page and Cancer Research UK JustGiving Page.

Good luck Tubby, Pughy, Cleary, Brucey, Clarkey, Paddy, Morrelley, Coffey, Reddy, Jordy and Andy - we’ll be thinking of you as we crack open that bottle of red! Jason certainly got a lucky escape when he volunteered to be your driver!

Thank you to everyone who sponsored the Y Club team on their coast to coast bike challenge. Almost £2500 has been raised for the 2 charities which is amazing. The two JustGiving pages will remain open for the next month for those who want to still donate.
