Nationwide Vehicle Contracts has appointed Sam Curzons as Commercial Sales Manager, reinforcing its commitment to growing its commercial vehicle division and supporting the next stage of the company's expansion.
Reporting to Jenny Acton, Head of Sales and Operations, Sam will lead Nationwide Vehicle Contracts' light commercial vehicle (LCV) division. In his new role, he will be responsible for growing new and used LCV sales, strengthening relationships with commercial customers and driving the company's commercial vehicle strategy.
Sam has been a valued member of the Nationwide Vehicle Contracts team for more than a decade, having joined the business in August 2015. During that time, he has established himself as one of the company's leading commercial sales specialists, consistently surpassing sales targets and playing a significant role in the continued growth of its Business Contract Hire (BCH) offering.
During his time with the company, Sam has built strong relationships with manufacturers, dealerships and finance providers, helping to secure competitive leasing solutions for business customers. He has also earned a reputation as a trusted mentor within the sales team, sharing his expertise and supporting the development of colleagues across the department.
His consistent performance, leadership qualities and contribution to the success of the commercial vehicle division made him the natural choice for promotion.
Sam Curzons, Commercial Sales Manager, said:
“I'm excited to step into the role of Commercial Sales Manager. Having been part of the Nationwide Vehicle Contracts team for a number of years, I've seen first-hand how the business has grown and evolved. I'm looking forward to working closely with our customers, partners and suppliers to strengthen our commercial offering and continue to grow our LCV division.”

Sam's appointment reflects Nationwide Vehicle Contracts' ongoing investment in its commercial vehicle division as demand for business leasing continues to grow. In recent years, the company has strengthened its LCV offering through the introduction of used van leasing, new manufacturer partnerships and an expanded range of commercial vehicles, providing customers with greater choice across both new and used vans.
The appointment also strengthens the company's ability to support SMEs, fleet operators and corporate customers with dedicated leadership for its growing commercial vehicle division.
The wider vehicle leasing sector has continued to expand, with UK leasing volumes reaching a record level in 2025. Demand for electric vans is also increasing, with battery electric van registrations rising by 36.2% during the year, underlining the growing importance of the commercial vehicle market.
Jenny Acton, Head of Sales and Operations, said:
“We're delighted to welcome Sam into his new role as Commercial Sales Manager. Throughout his time with Nationwide Vehicle Contracts, he has consistently demonstrated his commitment, expertise and dedication to the business. He brings a wealth of experience and a genuine passion for the commercial vehicle sector. As demand for business leasing continues to grow, we're confident Sam will play a key role in strengthening our LCV proposition, driving continued growth of this important area of the business.”

Established in 2002, Nationwide Vehicle Contracts is one of the UK's largest car and van leasing providers, having supported more than 180,000 customers. The company continues to invest in its people and commercial vehicle offering, building on recent growth and strengthening its position in the UK business leasing market.
