Nationwide Vehicle Contracts has sponsored Crimewatchers Droylsden and Audenshaw as part of its commitment to supporting local communities across Greater Manchester.
Nationwide Vehicle Contracts provided £2,000 in funding, plus uniforms for patrol members. This support helped strengthen Crimewatchers’ visible presence in the community and backed the work they do to support residents and deter crime. The sponsorship runs until March 2023.
Crimewatchers is a local community patrol service built to meet a real need. The patrols operate with a clear purpose. They support vulnerable residents, discourage criminal behaviour, and help improve public safety through a proactive, high-visibility approach.
Crimewatchers patrol across several areas of Greater Manchester, including Droylsden, Denton, Failsworth, Audenshaw, Haughton Green and Dane Bank. Their presence helps reassure the public and supports a safer environment for residents, businesses, and visitors.

Crimewatchers focuses on practical, frontline support. Their work includes:
Support when people need it
Crimewatchers assists residents with escorts and responds quickly to incidents and emergencies.
Professionally trained patrol teams
All patrollers are SIA-licensed and trained to a professional standard.
A trusted community presence
Local residents recognise the patrol teams, rely on them, and value their consistent visibility.
As part of the sponsorship agreement, Crimewatchers Droylsden and Audenshaw agreed to promote Nationwide Vehicle Contracts by including the sponsor’s logo on patrol clothing, displaying the website address on relevant websites and Facebook groups and providing ongoing visibility across their website and social media channels.
This partnership reflects a shared focus on community support and local safety.
“We are proud to support Crimewatchers Droylsden and Audenshaw because their patrols provide real reassurance to local residents. This sponsorship reflects our commitment to backing community-led services that make a practical difference to safety across Greater Manchester.”

Nationwide Vehicle Contracts recognises the value of organisations that work directly with local people. Supporting Crimewatchers Droylsden and Audenshaw formed part of a wider commitment to helping communities thrive, not only through business activity but through meaningful local partnerships.
Nationwide Vehicle Contracts will continue to support community initiatives that make a practical difference to people’s daily lives.
