Nationwide Vehicle Contracts has been named Best Used Leasing Broker at the Broker News Awards 2026, marking a key milestone for the business and its growing used leasing programme.
Now in its fourth year, the Broker News awards took place on 23 April at Coq d’Argent in London. The event celebrates excellence across the leasing broker industry and is open to BVRLA-accredited brokers and suppliers.
New for 2026, the Best Used Leasing Broker category reflects the growing importance of used leasing in the market. The category was judged by a panel of respected industry leaders including:

The award, supported by Morton Media Communications, was presented to Keith Hawes, Director of Nationwide Vehicle Contracts, by Laura Lerwill, Head of Marketing at Morton Media Communications.

Launched in late 2022, the used car leasing scheme is now the fastest-growing part of the business and has supported more than 3,000 customers. It offers a strong alternative to new car leasing, with clear customer benefits:
- Up to 30% lower rentals than new equivalents
- More than 95% of vehicles delivered within 14 days
- Reduced lead times across a wide range of vehicles
- Added value through extended warranties, breakdown cover, and maintenance plans
The programme also includes expanded partnerships with three key funding suppliers, including ALD Automotive, Arval UK and Lex Autolease. Nationwide Vehicle Contracts is now the largest UK broker for used vehicle leasing by volume.
