New Nissan X-Trail Style Edition Launched
The Nissan X-Trail has always been a stylish car, in name as well as nature. And now Nissan has introduced a new special edition of the X-Trail crossover that makes it even more desirable, enhancing the X-Trail's reputation for premium quality, comfort and contemporary design.
The X-Trail is the most versatile crossover in Nissan’s award-winning range, which also features the Qashqai and Juke, and the new X-Trail Style Edition merely raises the bar by using the top-of-the-range Tekna grade as a starting point before piling on the style and specification.
You can read all about the X-Trail and its grades here, but the new Style Edition takes all that Tekna spec and adds in a long list of additional equipment that includes alloy sports pedals, chrome door sills, chrome mirror caps, a chrome finisher on the lower boot and striking 19" ‘Black Ibiscus’ alloy wheels, as well as extra protective trim on the boot lip and a practical boot floor mat.
Considering that the Tekna trim was already jam-packed with design and technological specification, there's not much to add when it comes to infotainment as there is a wide range of Nissan’s easy-to-use infotainment technology at your fingertips, easily accessed via the intuitive NissanConnect 7" touch-screen.
And it's all as standard, along with a comprehensive suite of real-world safety systems that includes Nissan Safety Shield with Around View Monitor, Forward Emergency Braking, Lane Departure Warning and Traffic Signal Recognition, along with Nissan’s innovative Intelligent Park Assist.
With style comes comfort, exemplified by the leather upholstery on the seats, which are electrically adjustable and heated for the driver and front passenger, and the leather steering wheel, leather gear selector and satin-finish roof rails.
And of course, being a crossover, it's spacious, with the X-Trail being available with either five or seven seats, and equipped with an innovative Luggage Board System as standard that enables drivers to adjust the boot shelves and dividers to create 18 different cargo-carrying configurations. There is even a one-touch automatic opening power tailgate to help out.
Available with either 1.6-litre dCi 130 diesel or 1.6-litre DIG-T 163 petrol engines, there is a choice of two and four-wheel drive, and manual and Xtronic transmissions, although both petrol and diesel engines come with engine start/stop to minimise emissions and fuel use.
