The Qashqai is one of Nissan's most popular models ever - in fact, back in October 2015 it became the fastest ever UK-built vehicle to smash the half million production mark, having achieved it in a mere 21 months with a new Qashqai having been built every 62 seconds on the Sunderland factory Line 1.
Now Nissan have announced some changes to their model line-up in an attempt to further enhance the Qashqai range within the cross-over segment by closing the Acenta Premium model and introducing the Qashqai N-Connecta grade as a direct replacement for the existing n-tec and n-tec+ model versions.
Nissan hope that this new N-Connecta grade and the simplification of available trims will make it easier for customers to navigate the available Qashqai models available.
The new N-Connecta range upgrades the standard specifications and offers a range of new option packs to enhance the driving experience.
The new Qashqai N-Connecta has everything that the old N-Tec and N-Tec+ had - including all powertrain options such as the 1.2 litre turbo model and the powerful 161HP 1.6-litre turbo petrol option (available in high spec N-Connecta and Tekna trims only) but also gets some further upgrades.
But let's look at what we get as standard from the start:
When it comes to safety and security, the Qashqai safety record is maintained with:
And on top of all these standard features, there are a variety of options packs available that allow the Qashqai N-Connecta to be further specified including the Heat pack with a heated front windscreen and heated front seats, the Comfort pack with a panoramic sunroof and roof rails, and the executive pack with electrically adjustable heated seats, leather upholstery and a heated front windscreen.
The new Nissan Qashqai N-Connecta is now available to lease from Nationwide Vehicle Contracts with some great rates along with many other Qashqai models. Contact one of our representatives for more details.
