The Michelin Supercar Run at the 2012 Goodwood Festival of Speed will provide a high-octane environment in which the public will be able to see, hear and feel the very latest supercar models in action for the first time.

The souped-up vehicles in question will be demonstrating on the famous 1.16 mile Goodwood Hillclimb. At last year's event, the 50 car field featured over 25 UK public debuts. This year, things are looking to be even more impressive.

Cars set to make their world and/or UK debuts include the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Vitesse, Infiniti EMERG-e, Bentley Continental GT Speed, Maserati GranTurismo Sport, and many others.

A number of other important UK debuts will also take place in the First Glance class at Goodwood, with brand new models including the new Toyota GT-86, Savage Rivale, Vauxhall Astra VXR and Infiniti FX Vettel.

All told, you can expect to see up to 60 of the latest supercars in action on the Hill. These include less common vehicles such as the GTA Spano from Spain, the de Macross Epique GT1 from South Korea, the Zagato-bodied AC 378 GT, and the new Morgan Plus 8.

And, as is usually the case with the Goodwood Festival of Speed, some “surprises” are also promised.

The 2012 Goodwood Festival of Speed runs from 28 June-1 July.
