BMW 5 Series Touring Leasing & Contract Hire

I’ve had a 330e and the 530e generation before this one and they were smoother and far better to drive. The transition from electric to petrol is jerky and poor. At times it’s dangerous as it will limit the speed you are travelling on a low electric range. I pull out on to a fast road int he mornings and with only 4 miles of range on the vehicle it will limit your speed to 40-50 miles an hour and can put you in harms way with oncoming or joint traffic. The lack of buttons is ridiculous, you have to dive int a menu to find anything, the voice control system is poor and sometimes takes several goes to get it right. Split tailgate missing on these models now, such a shame. The lack of interior storage like the old car - poor. The usual systems to alert you as to speed etc drive you nuts, 1mph over the sped limit and you get an alarm. These are UN imposed but the most annoying feature ever. Wish I’d never leased it and got an older car

Very good vehicle. Great to drive, lots of space and quite a luxurious feel.
