BMW X2 FAQs
Is the BMW X2 bigger than the X1?
Despite its name, the BMW X2 is three inches shorter in length and nearly three inches lower than the BMW X1. This is mainly due to the shape of the vehicles.
With its sturdy shape and high rear-end, the BMW X1 is classed as a traditional ‘Sports Utility Vehicle’ (SUV). The BMW X2, however, is characterised as a ‘Sports Activity Coupe’ (SAC) due to its coupe-inspired shape, sleek tapered roofline, and narrower windows.
Both BMW X1 and BMW X2 are available to lease with Nationwide Vehicle Contracts.
How much does it cost to lease a BMW X2?
The new BMW X2 is available to lease from as little as £488.08 per month with Nationwide Vehicle Contracts. This price includes VAT but excludes the initial rental and processing fee.
You can view our latest BMW X2 lease deals and customise the quotation according to your preferred contract length, mileage and initial rental. However, please be aware that our lease deals change regularly, so if you see an X2 leasing deal you are interested in, be sure to register your interest early to ensure you don’t miss out!
Is it worth it to lease a BMW X2?
If you’re looking for a small, sporty crossover that’s fun to drive and is available with four-wheel-drive, the BMW X2 is a great lease choice.
Available to lease from just £488.08 per month with Nationwide Vehicle Contracts, the BMW X2 is a sleeker, sportier and slightly less roomy alternative to the X1. Its punchy engine range, well-finished cabin, and eye-catching design help make it stand out from alternatives such as the Volvo XC40, Jaguar E-Pace, Audi Q3 and Range Rover Evoque.
Is the BMW X2 a 4x4?
The BMW X2 is available with two-wheel-drive (2WD) and four-wheel-drive (4WD). Cars fitted with BMW’s 4x4 system are badged as xDrive, while two-wheel-drive vehicles are called sDrive models.
Both BMW X2 xDrive and BMW X2 sDrive models are available to lease with Nationwide Vehicle Contracts.
