BMW X5 FAQs
Leasing a BMW X5 offers many benefits over buying a car outright with dealer finance or a car loan. Thanks to our relationship with the manufacturer, monthly lease rates on the BMW X5 may be lower than expected, with a low initial outlay and flexible term and mileage terms also available.
At the end of the contract term, you return the X5 to the finance provider, so you don’t need to worry about vehicle depreciation. Leasing also allows you to upgrade your vehicle every two, three or four years, allowing you to take advantage of new model releases and upgraded technology.
Monthly lease prices for the BMW X5 start from as little as £794.19 inc VAT per month.
It's worth noting that lease prices change regularly and our best deals usually only last a couple of weeks at a time so if you see a BMW X5 lease deal you like, register your interest early to ensure you don’t miss out!
All of our BMW X5 lease deals include:
- Full manufacturer’s warranty
- Road tax for the duration of the contract
- Breakdown cover
- Free mainland GB delivery direct to your door (exclusions apply)
A maintenance and servicing package can also be added to the monthly rental for an additional cost, helping to spread the cost and allow you to budget more efficiently.
Delivery lead times for the BMW X5 vary depending on several factors including seasonality and product demand. Currently, there is an estimated lead time of 12-16 weeks for the BMW X5 for a custom order. Pre-built models may have a reduced delivery time.
You can read more in our Understanding Delivery Lead Times guide.
Three X5 models are available in – xLine, M Sport and M.
The entry-level xLine model is the cheapest X5 version available and include Aluminium exterior trim, leather upholstery and an exclusive Dark Aluminium 'Mesh Effect' interior trim.
The M Sport model offers a sharpened appearance with M aerodynamic bodystyling, M light alloy wheels, leather upholstery and M-specific steering wheel.

All BMW X5 cars supplied by Nationwide Vehicle Contracts are brand new and are covered by the BMW’s standard manufacturer’s warranty for three years from the first point of registration, or to a specific mileage point, whichever comes first. This covers you for mechanical breakdown of the car, including the costs of parts and labour, for an agreed period.
Read our handy Car Manufacturer Warranty Guide to find out what is included and excluded in the standard manufacturer’s warranty and who do you need to contact if you wish to make a claim.
