Expected delivery date caused some confusion particularly when arranging a date for collection of existing vehicle. All along advised delivery to the supplier was 01/10. Received an email on 17/09, to say this was delayed until 10/10 and then on 24/09 received a further update that it was being delivered that day. Fortunately I was able to rearrange the collection of my existing lease vehicle.

Douglas Citroen C4 1.2 PureTech (130) Plus *Free Metallic Paint*

In the year I’ve had this car I have had to contact the RAC twice to attend to electric faults. On the first occasion there was no electrics working in the cabin. The second occasion car became completely immobilised. RAC fixed both faults by disconnecting and reconnecting the battery. They told me to get it checked out under warranty. Unfortunately the Arnold Clark garage which deals with Citroen warranty work was some distance away. Even more disappointing was Arnold Clark informing me that if they were unable to find a fault they would charge me £156 for doing the diagnostics! Needless to say I cancelled the appointment as who’s to say they would have charged me the £156 whether they found a fault or not!

There is nothing to dislike about this vehicle it has so many safety features it make driving a pleasure and the comfort on long journeys is second to none.
