The infotainment and electronic assists are terrible. Daily crashes of the infotainment, errors all over the dashboard, assisted braking kicks in for no reason which is really dangerous.

The Cupra Formentor is a fine drive, has a comfortable & good looking interior and is inexpensive to run. It’s hugely let down by its pitiful touch screen based infotainment system. It’s illogical, glitchy, poorly lit (heating buttons) and thoroughly annoying. Looking on the web, it does seem like VAG is aware that they messed this up on this and other products.

The performance and handling are fantastic, comfort and practicality good, easily fit the 3 of us plus large dog. Cup holder annoying as clashes with arm rest and infotainment system glitchy although better since Cupra did an update during the service. Not as bad on fuel as I feared given its the 310PS version so overall very pleased with the car.

poor electrics that fail regularly, very poor software that works occasionally and everything is working loose so every journey is a rattling contest against turning the radio up. lovely to look at, hideous to live with. very poor.

Cupra connect only included for 12 months then £120 per annum is a rip off. Sat nav is not usable after 12 months without traffic updates if don’t renew cupra connect. With bmw, traffic updates for life.

Poor fuel efficiency when driving through towns and not on a motorway. Dislike some small details like one normal sized cup holder for driver and passenger also some features like the temperature controls on the dash do not light up so very difficult to see in the dark if you do not want to use the touch screen controls. Love everything else as its a great car.

The car required a new battery a short while ago. This was a hassle as we were without a car for two days. But generally very happy.

the car is brilliant I am very pleased with the car. and the service from both ALD, Nationwide vehicle lease. I would have no hesitation in leasing this car again. if I had one negative then it would be the in regards to the first service. I felt the dealers assistants were quite ignorant , rude , I was made feel like I was not important to them, because I was just a car lease customer.
