It depends on the trim. Pro and Max models have an 18.4kWh battery with an official range of up to 51 miles. The Ultra has a larger 29.8kWh battery and can cover up to 84 miles on electric power, one of the longest ranges of any PHEV SUV on sale in the UK.
Using a 7kW home wallbox, the smaller battery (Pro/Max) charges from 25–100% in around 3 hours. The larger Ultra battery takes around 4.6 hours. Both versions support DC fast charging, the Pro/Max can top up from 30–80% in 20 minutes, while the Ultra does the same in just 16 minutes.
The Starray has a 528-litre boot, which is bigger than the Ford Kuga (412 litres) and BYD Sealion 5 (463 litres). The adjustable boot floor makes it easy to slide bulky items in and out, and there's extra storage underneath for charging cables.
