The Genesis GV70 entry-level Premium model offers a range of features, including dual LED headlights and taillights, 19-inch alloy wheels, folding wing mirrors with heating, and chrome door handles. The interior boasts an 8.0-inch driver's display, a 14.5-inch infotainment screen, electrically adjustable seats with leatherette upholstery, automatic front air conditioning, and a suspension camera system for road prediction, complemented by cloth finishing.

The Genesis GV70 Sport variant builds upon the Premium trim, incorporating similar features while introducing unique elements such as different 19-inch alloy wheels, red brake callipers, a chrome grille, and black detailing on the bumper, doors, beltline, and skid plate. Inside, the Sport model also includes the 8.0-inch driver's display, 14.5-inch infotainment screen, partial leather upholstery for the seats, ambient lighting, and rear automatic air conditioning in addition to the front.

It also showcases 21-inch alloy wheels, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, ambient lighting, and heated front seats.

In addition to the electric variant, which offers an impressive 490hp, dual motors, four-wheel drive, and a range of 280 miles, the Genesis GV70 provides two other engine options. There's a 2.2-liter diesel engine delivering 200hp and a 2.5-liter turbo petrol engine generating 304hp. Both of these engines come equipped with standard four-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic gearbox.

All three versions of the Genesis GV70 exhibit spirited performance, although the petrol and diesel variants may require a brief moment for the automatic transmission to make decisions. It's worth noting that the 2.5 petrol engine consumes a significant amount of fuel.

Despite its thirstiness, the petrol engine maintains refinement. While it can be a bit loud under full acceleration, it remains remarkably quiet during cruising, with minimal wind and tire noise.

To enhance ride quality, the GV70 incorporates an intelligent camera system that scans the road ahead, alerting the suspension to upcoming bumps or potholes in order to smooth out the ride. However, when the vehicle is in Sport mode, the suspension can become too bouncy for British backroads. It is preferable to leave it in Comfort mode, accepting the slight increase in body roll.
