Performance breakdown

The Isuzu D-Max EV uses a 66.9kWh battery and dual-motor setup, producing 203PS and up to 163 miles of range. You also get full-time 4x4, four levels of regenerative braking, Eco Mode, 3.5-tonne towing and over a one-tonne payload. 

Interior and exterior design

The D-Max EV still looks tough but adds a few electric touches, including EV badging, Bi-LED headlights with blue accents and new rear lights. Inside, it feels more premium, with leather upholstery, heated front seats, dual-zone climate control and an electrically adjustable driver’s seat. 

Practical applications

With 3.5-tonne towing, up to 1,060kg payload, 600mm wading depth and full-time 4x4, the D-Max EV suits trades, farms, fleets and site work. It’s ideal for businesses wanting to lower emissions without stepping away from proper pick-up capability.

Technology overview

The D-Max EV keeps its tech useful and easy to live with. Depending on the trim, you’ll get an 8-inch or 9-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 7-inch driver display, USB-C ports, surround view camera, parking sensors and advanced driver assistance systems. 

Customisation options

The D-Max EV is available in eDL40 and eV-Cross trims, with Extended Cab and Double Cab options on eDL40.
