The interior of the ProCeed may not be the most attention-grabbing in its class (for a more striking interior, consider the latest DS 4). However, it's uplifted with accents of silver trim on the dashboard and doors. The predominant colour scheme comprises various shades of black and dark grey. Due to the relatively narrow windows, the interior can sometimes feel a bit dim, especially towards the back. Nonetheless, it exudes a sporty ambience that aligns with the car's purpose.
Sitting atop the ProCeed's dashboard is a 10.25-inch touchscreen display, providing access to the infotainment system. While some competing cars boast crisper, more contemporary graphics for their infotainment systems, the ProCeed's screen is responsive, promptly reacting to icon selections or zooming in on the navigation map. Although there are alternatives with slightly smoother systems, it fares notably better than the somewhat bothersome setup found in the latest Volkswagen Group cars, including the VW Golf, Skoda Octavia, and SEAT Leon. Alternatively, you can opt for connectivity with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, bypassing Kia's proprietary system. Standard features include dual-zone climate control, heated front seats and steering wheel, Bluetooth, DAB radio, and accessible aux-in and USB ports.
Two trim levels are available: GT-Line and GT-Line S.
It's surprising to think of the GT-Line as the starting point for the ProCeed, given its extensive array of features. Included are 17-inch alloy wheels, tinted windows, heated seats and steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, and a 10.25-inch touchscreen.
Moving up to the GT Line S models, enhancements encompass a spacious sunroof, a digital driver's display, simulated leather upholstery on the seats, and adaptive cruise control. Additionally, you'll enjoy added conveniences like a power-operated tailgate and a self-parking system.
