Design, Practicality and Boot Space

The design of the new Kia Ceed Sportswagon is one of its standout features. It presents a sleek and contemporary appearance that exudes confidence on the road. The car's exterior is characterized by clean lines and a well-defined front grille, giving it an attractive and modern look. The elongated roofline adds to its elegance while also enhancing the vehicle's aerodynamics. LED headlights and taillights contribute to the overall appeal and visibility, both during the day and at night. Kia has managed to strike a balance between sportiness and sophistication, making the Ceed Sportswagon an eye-catching option in its segment.

Kia Ceed Sportswagon Exterior

When it comes to practicality, the Kia Ceed Sportswagon excels as a family-friendly car. Its five-door layout provides easy access for passengers, and the cabin offers ample space for occupants to sit comfortably. The interior design is well thought out, with storage spaces strategically placed for convenient stowing of personal belongings. The rear seats can be folded down in a 60/40 split configuration, allowing for versatile cargo arrangements to accommodate larger items while still having room for passengers. These practical features make the Ceed Sportswagon an excellent choice for daily commutes, shopping trips, and family outings.

The Sportswagon variant of the Kia Ceed is specifically designed to offer a spacious boot area, and it delivers on that promise. With the rear seats in place, the Ceed Sportswagon provides a generous 625-litre of luggage space, capable of accommodating multiple suitcases, groceries, or sports equipment with ease. However, the real magic happens when the rear seats are folded down. By doing so, the boot space expands to 1,694 litres enabling the car to handle bulkier and larger loads, making it perfect for weekend getaways or transporting larger items such as furniture. Whether you need to carry shopping bags, baby strollers, or any other cargo, the Kia Ceed Sportswagon's boot space ensures that you have plenty of room for all your needs.

Interior and Trims

The interior of the new Kia Ceed Sportswagon is designed to provide a comfortable and modern driving experience. The cabin boasts high-quality materials and thoughtful design elements that create a welcoming and sophisticated atmosphere. The seats offer excellent support and comfort, making long journeys pleasant for both the driver and passengers. Depending on the trim level and optional packages chosen, the upholstery may vary from durable cloth to premium leather, giving buyers the opportunity to customize the interior to their preferences.

The dashboard layout is intuitive and user-friendly, with controls conveniently placed for easy access. At the centre of the dashboard, there is an infotainment system featuring a touchscreen display. This system supports smartphone integration through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, allowing users to access their favourite apps, navigation, and music seamlessly.

The Ceed Sportswagon comes equipped with various convenience features, such as multiple USB ports, a rearview camera, and parking sensors, enhancing the overall driving experience. Additionally, depending on the trim level, buyers can find additional amenities like dual-zone climate control, heated and ventilated seats, and a panoramic sunroof, further elevating the comfort and luxury of the interior.

Two trim levels are available: 2 and 3.

The base 2 models of the Kia Ceed offer an impressive array of features, including 16-inch alloy wheels, LED brake lights, and cruise control. Inside, you'll find a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone mirroring, DAB digital radio, and Bluetooth connectivity. Additionally, there's a handy reversing camera to aid in parking manoeuvres. However, if you desire satellite navigation or partial leather seats, you'll need to consider upgrading to the Blue Edition model or a higher trim.

For those seeking a more premium experience, the high-spec '3' models stand out in the Kia Ceed lineup. They come equipped with an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system featuring smartphone mirroring, DAB digital radio, Bluetooth, and satellite navigation—similar to the Blue Edition cars. The '3' models also offer tinted windows, 17-inch alloy wheels, and partial faux leather seats with electric lumbar adjustment for the driver. Additional standard features include cruise control, rain-sensing wipers, dual-zone air conditioning, and elegant metal-effect trims on the air vents and door handles, elevating the interior ambience.

Power and Performance

The Ceed Sportswagon offered customers a diverse selection of petrol and diesel engines, along with a plug-in hybrid variant. However, as of the current time, the available engine option is limited to a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol motor producing 160hp. Despite the reduction in engine choices, this 1.5-litre engine proves to be capable, offering a good balance of performance and fuel efficiency. The standard transmission is a six-speed manual gearbox, as no automatic option is currently offered.

Kia Ceed Sportswagon Interior

While the Ceed Sportswagon may not be a high-performance sports car, it delivers a more than adequate driving experience. The range of available engines, including some efficient turbocharged options, provides a good balance of power and fuel economy. The handling is responsive and predictable, and the suspension strikes a decent compromise between comfort and sportiness. Whether navigating urban streets or tackling winding roads, the Ceed Sportswagon remains composed and easy to control.

Leasing vs Buying

The Kia Ceed Sportswagon is now available for purchase at a starting on-the-road price of £22,305.00*, or it can be leased with monthly payments starting from £188.17.
