When I ordered the car I was told that it would be available at the end of February/beginning of March. However in February I started getting emails saying it didn’t have a build date yet. When I phoned to see when it was likely to come they said July. So when I originally ordered. They must have known that February was unrealistic. I then had to be sent stick car list and choose from that as I needed a car. Ended up spending more than I wanted as had to go for the higher spec as that was what was available.
You need to be more transparent of the availability of cars. I went with you as you were the only company that said you could get the car that I wanted. But this was obviously unrealistic.

Fantastic for town , city and motorway whether short or long distance. The comfort levels are very high with high quality leather, great detailing and excellent seats that have both heaters and coolers in the way of fans. Cabin is very quiet - even windows and wipers are very quiet indeed. Large wheels and high clearance soaks up the potholes and you get a spare wheel not a run flat gunk pack. With the height of the car and the softer suspension its not one for twisty roads at speed. 36 to 42 MPG achieved, but thats way short of manufacturer claims. Huge sat nav screen but unnecessarily large number of steps to input destinations - the interface needs a revamp. EV mode not always available even with batteries at 25%+ which is a mystery. Middle seat in rear is narrow - 2 child seats leave a narrow space so check first. Overall 5 stars as I wanted a comfortable SUV Hybrid motorway roller I would get out of in a reasonable state after a 3 hour drive. This over delivered.

Fantastic SUV; easily one of the best! Only gripe is that the connectivity that Lexus US vehicles have is not availible in the UK in terms of phone and media. On that basis falling behind competitors such as Jaguar and Mercedes.

Lexus RX FAQs

The RX is a large SUV, coming in at 4,890mm long, 1,920mm wide, and 1,695mm tall. Inside, there's generous head and legroom for five adults, and you'll get a boot space of up to 461 litres. 

It's worth noting the boot space stays the same whether you go for the self-charging hybrid or the plug-in, as the battery is positioned beneath the floor. 

Every Lexus RX comes with Lexus Safety System+ as standard, which includes a pre-collision system, adaptive cruise control, a driver monitor, lane-keeping assist, and road sign recognition. 

The electric range of the RX PHEV is up to 42 miles. In real-world driving, we'd expect somewhere between 35 and 42 miles.
