Excellent drive quality, handling, space. Lack of turbo on petrol version is a downside but not a show stopper. Would highly recommend the car if one's not bothered with instant power/torque

It looks impressive, very stylish- if you can’t afford a Range Rover, BMW or Audi this is a brilliant compromise. Drives and handles well. Seats are a bit hard and not comfortable for very long journeys.

Had the CX sport nav 2.2 diesel before this petrol version. Diesel has much more mud range punch which I miss but have to balance usage against cost etc.

The Mazda CX5 is for me the perfect car, well priced, comfortable, quiet, economical to run,, and a good long distance cruiser. This car has the safety pack and all the facilties, satnav etc are of excellent quality. This is the second CX5 I have had, and the fouth Mazda. Very pleased.

I had a Kia Sportage before this with a manual gear box, the Mazda is automatic, is a very smooth drive and when you change to drive sport can go fast in a short space of time, really happy with this car.

Infotainment a bit dull, seems slightly out of touch with new tech. Auto handbrake is poor, should activate with engine turnoff.

Amazing car large boot I would go for the diesel next time as the petrol version you have to work the gears to get initial speed
