Design, Practicality and Boot Space

The SE EV models comes with a 10.25-inch infotainment system along with MG Pilot which includes adaptive cruise control. You’ll also get a 7.0-inch digital driver’s display.

The Trophy EV adds a sporty rear spoiler, satellite navigation included within the 10.25-inch infotainment system. MG Pilot safety is also included, which brings adaptive cruise control.

Power and Performance

The MG4 line-up is straightforward, featuring three models that combine two motor options and two battery sizes. The base SE model is equipped with a 170hp motor and a 51kWh battery, delivering a range of 218 miles and a 0-60mph time of 7.5 seconds.

Opting for the SE Long Range or Trophy Long Range models will provide a 203hp motor and a 64kWh battery, resulting in a slightly slower 0-60mph time of 7.7 seconds due to the added weight. However, the extended range of these models is impressive, with the SE Long Range having a maximum range of 281 miles, and the Trophy Long Range having a range of 270 miles.

Charging times vary between the two battery sizes, with the smaller 51kWh battery capable of being charged at up to 117kW and reaching 80% charge in just 39 minutes. The larger 64kWh battery has a slightly faster charging rate of 135kW, allowing it to reach 80% charge in 35 minutes.
