The vehicle software is dreadful. Even after a dealer update, the system is dangerous. The system thinks it sees something and emergency brakes when there is nothing there. The stay in lane sees imaginary lines and tries to steer you in to the hedge. The info system crashes daily(bought a screen mount so I can see my phone satnav). The car generally is nice for a budget car, however if you do not disable functions before driving, it’s a death trap. Looking forward to replacing.

The car is easy to drive. Good family car, comfortable, well equipped, good driving position and well built. It has lots of power and instant torque. There is very few cars that can match the acceleration, and then you would have to spend hundreds of thousands of pounds to get close. My only downside is the brakes. In my opinion, the cars brakes are good for normal driving, but when you hit speeds of 100 mph in just a few seconds, the brakes are not strong enough to stop the car safely. They simply cannot match the power of the car. If my X power was my own and not leased, I would definitely have a brake upgrade. However, that's just my opinion. I charge my car at home, usually once a week. It costs around £4 per charge( up to 80%). So far the car has travelled 5,800 fast miles and it has only cost me around £240 for the whole year since I have had the car from new- compre that to any fuel car!

I think it's a really good car - it has couple of annoying things though. 1) Laggy touch screen. 2) Lane Keep Assist sometimes kicks in when it shouldn't and if you turn it off it turn itself back on next time you start the car. It handles well and is very cheap to run if you charge at home and compared to other EVs it's good value for money.

I love my MG4, it's cheap to run and comfortable to drive. It has everything I need for the driving I do. The only minus is the Lane keep Assist, which we turn off on longer journeys, as it can be very distracting.

Overall it is very good to drive, spacious and practical. The choice of driving modes is good with reasonable distance for local driving with some motorway trips. Technology missed includes folding wing mirrors, heated wing mirrors. Reverse takes some time to get used to it. Car app is more basic than expected eg not being able to schedule climate control. Updating app apparently requires trip to dealership. Apple CarPlay very good. Model does not include reverse camera but the sensors are good.

The range is a plus for this vehicle. Downsides include have to change to eco driving at the start of every journey, too many bleeped notices and not being able to have fresh air through the cooling/heating system without putting the heating on using up power.

Feels a bit plasticy and going over bumps can be a bit traumatic on the back. Dislike that if you change temperature on dashboard, the air con comes on every time. Mileage range is good and saves me a lot compared to diesel counterparts.

Very nippy car with great capabilities. The app is fantastic especially in the winter months when you can warm it up before getting in.
