Renault Symbioz FAQs
What is the range of the Renault Symbioz?
The Renault Symbioz uses an advanced hybrid powertrain that returns up to 630 miles of driving range. As a hybrid, it's worth noting that this isn't pure electric range; it's the engine and motor working together.
For more information on hybrid cars, check out our guide, What is a hybrid car and should I lease one?
What powertrain does the Renault Symbioz use?
The Symbioz uses Renault's E-Tech full hybrid technology. A balance between electric and combustion engines, the E-Tech powertrain combines a combustion engine with two electric motors and a battery.
The battery recharges itself using kinetic energy and also features regenerative braking, meaning you'll never have to plug in the Symbioz.
What is the boot space of the Renault Symbioz?
The Symbioz has a roomy interior and comes with a boot space of up to 624 litres, which is very good for a compact SUV. It can be extended to 1,498 litres by folding the rear seats flat.
You also get a motorised tailgate, making it much easier to load and unload your luggage or sports gear.
Is the Renault Symbioz a safe car?
The Renault Symbioz has up to 24 advanced driver assistance systems, including active driver assist, lane keeping assist, a 360-degree view camera, and rear automatic emergency braking.
It also uses predictive hybrid driving, which anticipates combustion engine, hybrid, or 100% electric driving by continuously analysing your route to establish which mode is best suited for when. This helps to improve your vehicle's fuel consumption and performance.
