This is my second Skoda Superb, and in almost every respect, it is as good, if not better, than my previous model. As always with Skoda, it comes with far more options as standard than any of its competitors, so is excellent value for money. It's a solidly built car, and feels it as well. At 190BHP, it's more capable than the MKII at 150BHP, and the extra power is essential, as it's big solid car to move around. If a higher powered model was available with the L&K trim, I'm sure it would be very popular, but at present, you'll need to choose the Sportline for that, which has far less options included, and isn't available with a manual gearbox. Heated seats, windscreen and mirrors are very useful, and the array of control a driver has over the car configuration is very wide. The ability to reconfigure chassis settings for various driving modes is useful. It is unbelievably spacious, with no shortage of legroom in both front and rear, and yet it still boasts a huge boot capacity. There are two negative points so far. The first one, is that its predecessor, the Superb MKII Estate, was equipped with sliding boot rails to secure luggage, and this MKIII does not have that feature, which is a disappointment, and a rare mistake from Skoda. The second, and this is also common to previous models, is that the SatNav system never seems to have any map updates available for it. This means that maps can very quickly become out-of-date, and this may not be immediately noticeable to drivers, but compared to weekly updates from TomTom, it means that by the end of a longer lease period, you will almost certainly come across situations where satnav is useless. That said, I will almost certainly have another Superb when the time comes for me to renew it.

Excellent vehicle and superb value. The only bad thing is the umbrellas, they are rubbish and both broke on first use.

I love everything about the car and if I had just one criticism it would be that I assumed that it would come with a CD player and the fact that it doesn't means I can't listen to my CD's, but hey ho....you can't have everything. Brilliant car for many reasons. Will definitely look to replace with another when lease is up and nationwide were extremely competitive in their price, the service was great and the rental profile suited too. All round great experience.
